Buy my work, stimulate the economy!

I have donated works to two upcoming events, both fundraisers for institutions close to my heart.

The first is this one, being held by my high school, The Cambridge School of Weston. They have an excellent art program, and I seriously doubt that I would have gone as far as I have-no jokes here please- without the patience and valiant efforts of the CSW teachers. They deserve all support possible for their excellent programming, so if you have empty wall space and the urge to spend, check it out!

I gave them a rather nice piece that I am hoping they will get a goodly sum for, economic collapse notwithstanding.

"The Changing Lives With Art auction is a celebratory exhibit of works donated by CSW alumni, parents and friends. There will be a reception with juried silent and live auctions.Artists in the greater CSW community have been asked to donate a significant piece of their work to the auction, from which all proceeds will benefit the Arts Endowment as part of the
Changing Lives:The Campaign for CSW. "

Secondly,

Artspace in New Haven is having their annual fundraiser auction. They are a wonderful local resource with top-notch exhibits and programming. The event is also REALLY fun: cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, plus Guy Bennett, an auctioneer from Christie's who is terrific, very funny and truly entertaining. They too got a good one from me, which I am hoping will lure those stimulus checks out of everyone's pockets, and support a very worthy institution.
