It wouldn't be Venice without postcard-perfect sunsets...
This one from the other night, on a walk with A, just BEFORE Carnevale. Now this location is clogged beyond recognition with mask stalls, camera toting tourists, and dressed up masqueraders...
The picture does not quite capture just how HUGE the sun looked, and it was bright red, like a beet, which the camera could not get.

Ah Martha a first for me I must say, I have never participated in a blog before! You make me want to pack up the brood and head for Italy but what airline would take us and the 200lb dogs!
